Woman and Paradise in Islam

Articles - Women in Islam
Wednesday, 01 Sha'ban 1428

The secular feminist revolution rose upon the world from the West with an essentially godless agenda to liberate women from the “shackles” of the ages by totally transforming her status, role and function in society. In so doing it has turned the previous religious and sacred order upside-down in such a way that the sun now appears to be rising from the west.

Secularism led to materialism which in turn denied woman any reality beyond her material reality. Consequently the young beautiful woman became the goddess of the age. But she was a goddess who was shamelessly exploited in advertising to sell everything. She became a thing enjoyed, exploited, abused, degraded and discarded when her physical beauty and sex appeal began to wane. Then a host of schoolgirls would rush in to replace her. Even the national calypsonian gave his view on the subject quite some time ago when he sang of
the prostitute, “… and if you catch them broken (i.e., in financial difficulty), you can get them all for nothing.”

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prophesied the deception that would enslave women. He said, “women would be dressed and yet be naked”, thus anticipating an age of increasing feminine nudity that would be integrally linked to the feminist revolution. Carnival bandleaders in Trinidad are now complaining that they cannot use enough cloth to make creative designs since women increasingly demand the skimpiest of costumes.

The ‘naked’ woman’s body was used to usher a sexual revolution that would culminate, according to the Prophet, with “the majority of children being born out of wedlock” and “people having sexual intercourse in public like donkeys.” When we see sex publicly simulated in Trinidad carnival we know that the feminist revolution will soon climax with woman being transformed into a donkey. Despite this colossal failure, the modern godless world has insisted on opening a ‘gender’ battlefield in quest of ‘equality’ while waging war on Islam. The latest target is the innocent Hijab that is maliciously attacked because it obstructs the way for the Muslim woman to be absorbed into the godless melting pot.

Islam has never sought to put an equal sign between the sexes. ‘Woman’ can neither be studied nor understood in a context independent of ‘man’. The two are inseparable. The Prophet declared that women were “… the twin-halves of men.” The Qur’an confirmed this inter-dependence when it declared “They are your garments, and you are their garments.”

And in a passage with sublime literary beauty the Qur’an (al-Lail, 92:1-4) first directed attention to the ‘night’ and that which it shrouds and conceals with such mystery and splendor, and then turned to the ‘day’ with its bright light which exposes everything and leaves nothing concealed, and then proceeded to explain that the ‘male’ and the ‘female’ are functionally analogous to the ‘day’ and the ‘night’. In the same way that ‘day’ and ‘night’ are functionally different yet interdependent, so too are the ‘male’ and ‘female’.

When this philosophy of gender was applied to Muslim society the ‘night’ never attempted to become ‘day’. Rather ‘night’ and ‘day’ eternally longed for each other. And so we were never subjected to the abominable phenomenon (that European civilization is now exporting to the rest of the world) of the ‘day’ mating with ‘day’ and vice-versa

Women in such a society not only fulfilled all their sacred functional duties as wives and as mothers, and thus contributed in a significant way to preservation of the health, strength and stability of the family, but, in addition, they preserved both their femininity as well as their fertility. And so the Muslim woman remained truly and enchantingly a woman! An age that produced the celibate priest had obstinately insisted that one had to turn away from woman in order to turn to God. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah Most High be upon him) responded by declaring “Three things have been made dear to me in this world of yours – perfume, women and prayer.” And so Islam rejected both celibacy and the ‘object’ while recognizing woman, like prayer, to be a medium through which a man might journey to paradise.

Is Looking at Spouse’s Naked Body Allowed?

As-salamu `alaykum. Can a husband look at the naked body of his wife and vice versa?
Muzammil Siddiqi

Answer

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

Dear questioner, thank you very much for having confidence in us, and we hope our efforts, which are purely for Allah's Sake, meet your expectations.

In the first place, we would like to stress that spouses are permitted to look at each other’s naked body, especially when this is done during intimacy. However, being nude in front of each other unnecessarily should be avoided.

In this regard, we would like to cite for you the following fatwa issued by Dr. Muzammil H. Siddiqi, former President of the Islamic Society of North America:

Read Also:

There is no `awrah (parts of the body to be hidden) between the husband and wife. The husband and wife can be naked in front of each other. However, Islam urges human beings to observe haya' or modesty. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said, "Modesty (haya') is part of faith." (Ibn Majah)
Thus, one should not be nude unnecessarily. The husband and wife can take their clothes off in front of each other to enjoy their sexual relations, but after that they should cover themselves.

It is not good to walk around the house naked, even in one's privacy and not in front of others. It is absolutely haram to be nude in front of other people unless it is before the doctor for medical examination and treatment only.

Allah Almighty knows best.

Pornography Advice

How can I advise someone who is addicted to pornography?

I have a friend who uses the internet and goes to pornographic websites. What is the shar’i ruling on that, and how can I help him to keep away from such things?.

Praise be to Allaah.
It is not permissible to look at pornographic pictures that show the charms of women, either on internet web sites or in newspapers or magazines etc. That is because looking at them is a means of enjoying them and knowing the beauty of the woman in the picture.
This may also be a means that leads to something haraam, so it is also regarded as haraam, because the means come under the same rulings as the ends.
Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 2424.
Many people take the matter of looking at pictures of non-mahram women lightly, on the grounds that these are just pictures and are not real. But this is a very serious matter, because it inevitably tempts a man to try to look at the woman directly. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them”
[al-Noor 24:30]
Majmoo’ Fataawa wa Rasaa’il Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 1/268
You can help your friend to keep away from these things by always advising him and making him fear Allaah, and reminding him that Allaah is always watching him and that nothing is hidden from Him. And remind him of the blessings that Allaah has bestowed upon him, such as giving him eyes with which to see things that will benefit him, and He has forbidden him to use them to look at things that He has forbidden. Remind him that Allaah will question him about that, hence Allaah concludes the verse referred to above with the words (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, Allaah is All-Aware of what they do”
[al-Noor 24:30]
And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart of each of those ones will be questioned (by Allaah)”
[al-Isra’ 17:36]
If a wise man thinks about it, when he is looking at these haraam pictures, he will realize that there is nothing behind these glances but loss, pain and sorrow, because he cannot really get what he sees in these pictures.
The poet spoke the truth when he said:
“When you give free rein to your eyes, this will cause great pain to your heart.
You will see what you cannot have, and you will feel frustration because you do not have some of what you see.”
So it is clear that there is nothing to be gained from these pictures except the wrath of Allaah, and wasting time and money on things that are not pleasing to Him, and tormenting yourself.
The Muslim has to seek chastity by means of marriage, and try his best to achieve that.
He should also give up bad company who may have a bad effect on him and encourage him to go to these bad web sites.
He should also keep himself busy with things that will benefit him in both religious and worldly terms, such as memorizing the Book of Allaah, attending gatherings of dhikr, and going to useful websites that contain sound knowledge.

He is involved in Da’wah but feels that he is a hypocrite and weak in faith

I have a VERY important and urgent question. I would really like a DETAILED answer as your answer could change my life !!! Mail me if you want more information.
Please be patient with the length of my question as I believe the more I inform you the better you can answer the question.
I live in the West and I was born in a Muslim family. From my early teenage years I became active in Islam. Even from a young age I believed in Islam and I even wondered how people went to sleep without praying !!
I'm now much older and I have changed completely. My belief in Islam and even in Allah has disappeared. Basically I have become an outright hypocrite of the worst kind. I stay away from women but not pornography. I am prepared and trying to give that up and that maybe the cause of my fall but I've noticed that it's too late, as this is now a branch of the problem and not the root as the root of the problem is my belief in Allah and Islam.
Sometimes I believe I am crazy as I continuosly have erroneous thoughts about God, where I came from, Islam, right and wrong, etc.. I seem to be fighting between belief and disbelief, especially during prayer.
I have not abandoned prayer, etc, but it really does not benefit me any more. If you meet me you'll think I'm practicing from my appearance and speech, etc, I go to the mosque, I fast, but really I'm a true hypocrite whom no one knows. I cannot go on like this.
I actually actively give Dawah aswell to non-muslims but in my heart I really disbelieve, so why am I doing this ??? But when I directly discuss Allah it hurts me due to my confusion as I have lost my belief and find it hard to fake belief at times !!!
Praise be to Allaah.
You should know, my brother, that the most essential thing for any person is his commitment to Islam and his faith, and he will not be harmed by whatever he misses out on of worldly things if Allaah keeps his religion safe. Allaah is the King of kings and is the One Who moves the heart; He Alone is the One Who strengthens the heart and makes it steadfast. For this reason I advise you, my brother, to turn to Allaah, for He is a loving and merciful Lord Who is Compassionate towards His slaves. If you turn to Him sincerely and pray with true longing and ask Him to strengthen your faith and protect you from the evil of the whispers of your own soul and of the Shaytaan, then Allaah is Close and responds to the prayers of those who call on Him. Do not forget this important fact, for it is a source of relief and a way out from your problem, in sha Allaah. I would also like to remind you of the virtues of reading Qur’aan and reciting a lot of du’aa’s, morning and evening, for this will have a great effect in bringing peace and comfort to your heart.
Avoid the things that will make you feel far away from Allaah and bring you closer to the Shaytaan and his whispers. One of these things is what you mention in your question, namely looking at pornography and so on, because if a person persists in sin, it piles up in his heart until it is overwhelmed with darkness and is not affected by any exhortation or preaching. So hasten to repent from this sin and others, and fulfil the conditions of repentance properly. We also advise you to avoid sitting with bad company and in gatherings that could increase your confusion or provoke your desires; look for good people and keep company with them, because a man will be on the religion of his friend.
It seems from your question that you are suffering from a specific psychological problem, either financial or social or otherwise, and this is having an effect on this waswaas (insinuating thoughts from Shaytaan) that you are suffering. If this is indeed the case, we advise you to treat this problem quickly, because this may be a way of dealing with what you are suffering from. We will help you as much as we can, in sha Allaah.
What you are going through might be a kind of depression or anxiety, for one reason or another. You know that Allaah has not created a disease without also creating the cure. It is known that there are medicines that may be of help, by the grace of Allaah, in treating this kind of sickness. So ask about this kind of medication from a psychiatrist.

How to Avoid Pornography

How to Avoid Pornography

Avoid Pornography

The Internet is a wonderful place. But it holds many temptations for many people. Online pornography, for example, can become a time-consuming addiction for a lot of people. If it's becoming a problem for you, here are some tips to help you break the habit.

  Steps

Make the Decision to Stop

1. Think carefully about why you want to avoid online pornography
What's important to you?
Are you wasting too much time perusing adult sites?
Are you concerned about how your behavior is affecting your family?
Are you losing sleep?
Are you becoming antisocial?
Do you feel guilty because of religious reasons?
Having a strong reason for avoiding pornography is a great motivator. If possible, make a list of reasons why you want to avoid porn, with the strongest reasons at the top.
Review the list every morning and every night.
(If you're worried about keeping this list on your computer, you can easily keep it locked up in a password-protected file.)

2. Make a promise to yourself that you will try not to watch pornography.
Making a promise will help set boundaries.
If you need help, you can talk about it with a friend or a family member.

3. Do your best to keep your promise.
Habits are hard to break.
If you feel like you're slipping, think about the benefits your abstinence has brought you.
4. Look at yourself in the mirror
When you have tempting thoughts, look into the mirror and tell yourself that you are better than that.

Remove All Adult Material From Your Computer

1. Get rid of everything on your computer that is even remotely related to pornography
Do not keep anything at all. If you have bookmarks to porn sites, delete them. Empty your cache and delete your history. If you are a member of a porn site, resign your membership. It goes without saying that you should stop renting pornographic videos or DVDs. And don't forget to disable your webcam if you use it for libidinous pursuits.

Reevaluate the Time You Spend on the Computer

1. Don't spend lonely nights surfing the Internet.
Try to go to bed at the same time as the rest of the family, or earlier.
2.Try not to be alone in a room with the computer. Plan how much time you will use the Internet, and for what purpose. Follow your own guidelines. And remember, having broadband access doesn't force you to use the Internet all day long.
3. Before turning on your computer, make a list (on paper) of all the things you want to accomplish. Methodically work your way through the list and turn off the computer when you're done. Afterward, get away from computer and make plans to do something else.

Get a Hobby

  1. 1
Instead of spending so much time alone on the computer, develop an interest in something else. Develop a hobby, join the gym, spend time with your family, do some volunteer work. There are a million ways to spend your free time.
  2. 2
Try to meditate for a few minutes during the day. This will help you focus on your goals.
  3. 3
Think positive. By constantly telling yourself not to look at pornography it can keep the idea in your head. Instead of focusing on what not to do, focus on productive, enjoyable things you can do instead, even if it's as simple as something like a crossword puzzle.

Let Your Computer Help You

  1. 1
Install software to filter pornographic web content (see external links below). It will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident. That's important. If you are tech-savvy you can edit your hosts file to block your common haunts.
  2. 2
Keep your internet history - do not delete it. Remove all "scrubbing" software and other ways you used to conceal your online behavior. Where the history was a liability before, it is now a powerful weapon against temptation. Knowing the history is there is a great motivator not to visit inappropriate websites. Show your spouse or partner your now-clean history as a reward and a way to regain trust.

Edit Tips

  • TIPS FOR PROBLEM MANAGEMENT:
    • If you fall into the trap again, don't give up. Give it another try. Don’t stop trying.
    • Pornography addiction can be made worse by feelings of shame, loneliness, and hopelessness. If you seek out help and guidance and talk to your pastor, family members, and friends, you will probably find some emotional support that will help you. See if there are any support groups you can join.
    • After falling into the temptation again, go back and review what specific things might have triggered you. Eliminate all the things that caused the problem and you will have a more manageable task in stopping it altogether.

  • TIPS FOR ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES:
    • Try taking a cold shower or drinking cold water.
    • If your body needs to release (masturbate), try to do so in a clean way without looking at any pornographic images. The brain will crave pornographic images less and less over time and you will soon have a more manageable drive.
    • Plan specific activities that you will go do (go to the gym, read, paint, etc) the next time you feel like watching pornography.
    • Outdoor activities and sunshine will alleviate porn cravings. Take up good hobbies and sports like gardening, golf, running, swimming, walking, basketball, bicycling, chores, etc.
    • Religious people can reflect on their belief system for help and talk to others who share their beliefs, including church leaders.
    • During the day go over the list of reasons why you want to avoid porn and the list of things you will do to avoid a relapse.
    • Try to mentally categorize your life activities into three types: 1 - Green (safe activities that won’t lead you into temptation); 2 - Yellow (dangerous behaviors that could lead to porn, such as home alone channel-surfing); 3 - Red (activities that lead directly to porn use).
    • When you feel yourself moving into a "Yellow" zone, it is time to react: stop and find something safe to do instead.
    • How badly do you want to be free from porn? Becoming porn-free may entail sacrifice. Ask yourself: Do I really need the Internet at home? Do I really need cable TV? Or even any TV? That may seem fanatical, but if you don't have TV or Internet, your access to porn will be severely curtailed.

  • TIPS FOR COMPUTER USE:
    • Don't spend time alone with the computer.
    • Install a filter/history program on your computer that someone you trust can use to hold you accountable.
    • Stick with reputable websites.
    • Try and use SafeSearch while searching.
    • If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.
    • Be wary of sites that exist in countries with more lenient laws about Internet pornography. The last two or more characters of a domain name designate its country of origin (ie: www.somesite .de is a German domain name).
    • Be careful about going to any video sites like youtube; many videos there have at least soft porn. Stay away. if you must see a video, watch that one and then leave. Don't browse around.
  • Do not register for pornographic sites. Even if you delete a previous account, the site moderator will still have you on file.
  • Watch out for porn-oriented spam in your email. Filter and block it. Change your email address if it won’t stop.
  • Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.

Edit Warnings

  • Do not guess website addresses. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of non-pornographic sites. Use a search engine instead.
  • Do not follow links in email that is unsolicited. If it is a link you want to visit, copy and paste it into a browser instead of clicking on it. Often spam and phishing email (Identify-and-Resist-Phishing-Bait) will hide script behind their links.
  • Do not open attachments in unsolicited emails. To secure against pop-ups and other bad scripts, use a free web-based email service to complete online registrations.
  • Do not search for ambiguous terms such as "girls," "pump," "bagel," or "pony." Think carefully before typing a key word search.
  • Avoid illegal websites offering Keygens, Cracks or illegal software. These websites usually have explicit pornographic banners that might tempt you.
  • Don't think that the number of days you have abstained is the most important thing. You can abstain for a year or more and still have a relapse. Although you should be encouraged if you've abstained for a long time, you're better off asking yourself: "How far away am I from porn right now?" In other words, beware of complacency.
  • Although getting help from a spouse is important, you need to think carefully about how and when to break this news. If your spouse doesn't know about your interest in pornography, it may be devastating news.
  • Too often, pornography advertisements exist on less-than-reputable sites that host topics related to software piracy, hacking, cracking, and online gambling.

Edit Addiction programs

  • If you have developed a serious porn addiction, you should consider undertaking the principles used in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or other 12-step recovery programs that have helped many people overcome self-destructive compulsions.
What a porn-recovery program based on the 12 AA steps would entail:

    1. We admit that we were powerless over porn — that our lives had become unmanageable.
    2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
    3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
    4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
    5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
    6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
    7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
    8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
    9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
    10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
    11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
    12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to porn addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

93 nations in the world still legally punish homosexuality. In 7 of these - Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Nigeria, Mauritania - gays and lesbians are punished with the death penalty.

sodomy - اللواط

Islam, as one of the Abrahamic religions, along with Judaism and Christianity, has sometimes been perceived to reject homosexuality. According to mainstream Islamic beliefs, God sent the prophet Lot to the people of Sodom to preach against their wicked practices and urge them to worship God. Among these practices (as mentioned in the Quran) engaged in by the people of Sodom were sexual acts performed out in the open. Hence, the word sodomite. The exact meaning of this passage has been taken as reference to varying activities. The Quran (Surah Al-'Ankabut> Verse 29) recounts what was preached to the Sodomites. "Do ye indeed approach men, and cut off the highway? And practise wickedness (even) in your councils?" and the Quran also states "If two among you (men) commit it (fornication) punish them both.If they repent and mend their ways leave them both".(4:16)

what are the consequences of homosexuality_!

We need to get the facts straight.
Homosexual behavior not only seriously harms homosexuals individually, it harms society also.

People who practice homosexuality experience higher rates of many diseases, including:
Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
Hepatitis A, B and C
Gonorrhea
Syphillis
Gay Bowel syndrome
HIV/AIDS
Bacterial vaginosis

People who practice homosexuality have higher rates of:
  • Alcohol abuse
  • Drug abuse
  • Nicotine dependence
  • Depression
  • Suicide
  • Domestic violence (20 times more common than among heterosexuals)

Ah, but maybe these problems are the result of society's discrimination against homosexual people. Not true. If we look at places in which homosexuality is accepted, such as The Netherlands (gay marriage is legal there) and San Fransisco, we find that the greater the acceptance of homosexual behavior, the higher the rate of the above negative consequences. Accepting homosexual behavior makes it worse!

English: Should homosexuality be accepted in society? Percentage of responders that answered accept:
   81% - 90%
   71% - 80%
   61% - 70%
   51% - 60%
   41% - 50%
   31% - 40%
   21% - 30%
   11% - 20%
   1% - 10%
   No data

What about the effect of homosexual behavior on society?
  • In addition to a domestic violence rate that is 20 times higher than among heterosexuals, these are some of the negative effects homosexuality has on society:
  • Higher rates of child molestation*
  • (Nearly 1/3 of the child abuse cases are homosexual in nature, and homosexuals are only 3% of the population.)
  • Daughters of lesbian "parents" are more likely to engage in risky sexual behavior and experience the consequences of that behavior.
  • In areas in which homosexual marriage has become accepted the fundamental building block of society--the family--has fallen apart. In some of these areas as many as 80% of the children are born outside of a family.
  • Children of homosexual "parents" do the worst in 9 of 13 acedemic categories when compared with both married heterosexual couples and cohabitating couples.

Homosexual behavior is linked with higher rates of promiscuity, physical disease, mental illness, substance abuse, child sexual abuse and domestic violence--all things that impact society negatively. Don't try to say homosexual behavior doesn't hurt society--it is a major force that tears down society and harms children.

Video Games

 http://assassinshaven.com/wallpaper/assassins-creed-wallpaper-2.jpg

The one who looks at these games will see that they are based on mental skills and individual reactions or decisions. These games are of various types, with many aspects. Some of them take the form of illusionary battles which train a person in what to do in similar circumstances [in real life]; some are based on being alert so as to save oneself from danger; fighting enemies and destroying targets; planning; having adventures; finding the way out of a labyrinth; escaping from wild beasts; racing cars, planes, etc.; overcoming obstacles; searching for treasure. Some games increase knowledge and enhance one’s interests, such as games that involve taking things apart and putting them back together, jigsaw puzzles, building things, colouring, and shading and lighting.

 http://www.topdesignmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Games_Wallp-12.jpg
The shar'i ruling:
Islam does not forbid leisure or having fun in permissible ways. The basic rule concerning these games is that they are permissible so long as they do not get in the way of obligatory duties such as establishing prayer [i.e., praying properly and on time] and honouring one’s parents, and so long as they do not include anything that is haraam.

 http://www.imgbase.info/images/safe-wallpapers/video_games/starcraft/3386-video_games_starcraft_2_wallpaper.jpg

There are, however, many haraam elements in these games, such as the following:
  • Games which depict wars between the people of this world (“good guys”) and people from the sky (“bad guys”), with all its implications of accusations against Allaah, may He be glorified, or the noble angels.
  • Games which involve sanctifying the cross or passing over or by it to gain strength, to bring one back to life or the give the player extra “lives” and so on. Also, games which are used for designing birthday cards as in Christian culture are also forbidden.

  • Games which approve of witchcraft/magic, and which glorify witches/magicians/sorcerers, etc.
  • Games which are based on hatred of Islam and Muslims, like the game in which a player gets 100 points if he hits Makkah, 50 points if he hits Baghdaad, and so on.
  • Games that glorify the kuffaar and show pride in belonging to them, like games in which if a player chooses an army belonging to a kaafir state he becomes strong, and if he chooses an army belonging to an Arab state he becomes weak. Also, games which teach a child to admire kaafir sports clubs and the names of kaafir players.
 http://www.topdesignmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Games_Wallp-51.jpg

  • Games that include depictions of nudity, and some games that allow the winner to see a pornographic picture; games that corrupt morals, such as games where the idea is to run away with a girlfriend from the bad guys or a dragon.
  • Games based on ideas of gambling.
  • Music and other things that are known to be forbidden in Islam.
 http://www.topdesignmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Games_Wallp-68.jpg

  • Physical harm, such as damage to the eyes and nervous system; harmful effects of game sounds on the ears. Modern studies have shown that these games may be addictive and harmful to the nervous system, as well as causing stress and nervous tension in children.
  • Making children get used to violence and criminality, and teaching them to take killing and murder lightly, as in the famous “Doom” game.

  • Corrupting children’s sense of reality by teaching them about a world of illusions and impossible things, such as coming back from the dead, supernatural powers that do not really exist, images of space aliens, and so on.

We have gone into details about some of the ideological dangers and things that are prohibited by Islam because many fathers and mothers do not pay attention to these things, and they bring these games for their children and let them play with them.

We should also point out that it is not permissible to compete for prizes in playing these electronic games, even if the game itself is permissible, because they are not a means of jihaad, and they do not help you develop strength for jihaad.

Movies

A film, also called a movie or motion picture, is a series of still or moving images. It is produced by recording photographic images with cameras, or by creating images using animation techniques or visual effects. The process of filmmaking has developed into an art form and industry.

Watching movies includes looking at things that are haraam, such as seeing ‘awrahs, following immoral actions, or listening to things that are haraam such as music and obscene talk. Undoubtedly it is haraam to watch them in this case.

If the movies are free of such things, then there is nothing wrong with watching them, so long as that does not distract one from remembering Allaah or keep one from doing something that is obligatory.
No distinction is made between documentaries and other kinds of movies.

6-    Wasting time and draining away energy, living with illusions far removed from reality.
