"AND EVER IS SATAN, TO MAN, A DESERTER." [25:29]
“Shaytân (Satan) said, ‘By Your Might, O Lord! I will go on luring Your servants as long as their
souls are still in their bodies.’ The Lord said, ‘By My Might and Majesty! I will keep forgiving them, as long as they keep invoking Me for forgiveness.’” [Musnad Ahmad 3: 29]
Al-Mu'awwidhat
The Two Surahs of Seeking Refuge with Allah from Satan: Al-Falaq and An-Nās.
Al-Falaq, 113:1-5
Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
From the evil of that which He created
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
And from the evil of an envier when he envies.’
From the evil of that which He created
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
And from the evil of an envier when he envies.’
An-Nas, 114:1-6
Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
The Sovereign of mankind.
The God of mankind,
From the evil of the retreating whisperer –
The Sovereign of mankind.
The God of mankind,
From the evil of the retreating whisperer –
Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind –
From among the jinn and mankind.’
